Introducing our Chrome Sombra Metal Floor Lamp, a derivative of our Warped Palm Leaf Sombrero. Available for pre-order, this creation blends time-honoured indigenous craftsmanship with modern design. Crafted by skilled artisans from Guatemala, this piece pays homage to the classic cowboy hat with a warped twist prominent in Eakin's work.

Our sombrero lamp shades are meticulously handcrafted and stitched by Martîn Gonzales, an indigenous artisan from Kiche, Guatemala. The wooden hat blocks, along with the lamp base blocks are hand-carved in wood by our designer's uncle, Juan Galindo, at his woodworking shop in Ciudad Vieja, Guatemala. These wooden lamp base blocks are then turned into chrome plated steel.

These sombreros showcase the artistry of traditional palm leaf weaving techniques, passed down through generations mixed with Issa Eakin's raw shapes. The Sombra Lamps introduce ambient lighting to your home for functionality and sculptural display all while showcasing artisanal craftsmanship. 

Option to remove the lampshade for variation in aesthetic and decorative lightbulbs.
